Her Private Jet Business Was Real. The Clients Were Real. So Why Was Growth So Slow?

How one random “hi” on Instagram turned a slow-growing Australian private aviation brand into a faster, sharper business aimed at Shanghai's elite.

I'm Alizay Ayesha, founder of ZarLabs. This is the story of my client Zainab, founder and director of My Private Jet.

Zainab had built something real. Real aircraft partners. Real service. Real clients who expect everything to be perfect.

But the business had one problem.

Slow.

Not broken. Not failing. Just... slow.

And in private aviation, slow is the most expensive word there is.

Every day the business stayed the same was another day the clients it was built for never found it. The people who would happily book a private jet tomorrow were scrolling past brands that looked faster, sharper and more premium.

The frustration was quiet, but it was always there:

  • A business that was there, but not growing at the speed it deserved
  • A digital presence that didn't match the luxury of the service behind it
  • Tech, website and app work spread across too many hands, with nobody owning the whole picture
  • The right high-value clients, in the right markets, simply not reaching her

The product was good. So why did growth feel stuck?

It started with a random “hi”

It wasn't a sales call. It wasn't a tender. It was a random message on Instagram.

Zainab said hi. I didn't answer with a brochure or a price list. I asked about the business. Where it was. Where she wanted it to go. What was slowing it down.

The answer was clear to me. Her business wasn't broken. It just wasn't showing up the way it deserved to, in front of the people who should be buying from her. It didn't need more of the same. It needed a digital personality built for its clients, and a clear target.

That random hi turned into a business deal.

The three things our team changed

01

A digital personality, not just a website.

Our team at ZarLabs took over the whole digital side of My Private Jet, from the website to the app and personal software. One team, one vision, owning the full picture.

02

Agentic concierge software built for private aviation.

We built software around how a private jet business actually works, so things move faster for Zainab's team and for her clients.

03

A sharp new target: Shanghai's elite class.

Instead of waiting for growth, we pointed the brand at a specific, high-value market: the elite class in Shanghai, China.

Slow growth became faster, targeted growth.

Then it went beyond code

Zainab didn't just keep me on as a developer.

She brought me on as Head of Operations.

I went from building the tools to helping run the business those tools power. That kind of trust isn't something you give a vendor. You give it to a partner who has shown that things work when she's involved.

If your business is “there, but slow”

Maybe you've built something real too. Real product. Real clients. Real effort.

But growth feels stuck, and you can't quite say why.

Usually it isn't the product. It's everything around it: how you show up online, who you're actually reaching, and how fast your systems let you move.

That's exactly what we fix at ZarLabs. We build agentic software for businesses from startups to enterprise: AI employees, AI marketing systems and workflow automation. We find where growth is stuck, build what unsticks it, and stay to make it work.

Zainab's story started with one message.

Yours can too.
