What kind of photo should I upload?
An old, damaged, faded, blurry, or black-and-white photo. One picture at a time. You need the rights to restore it.
Which fixes can I choose?
Restore and repair creases or scratches, sharpen blur, colorize black-and-white photos, enhance faces, and upscale clarity. You pick the ones you want before the restore runs.
Does this keep the same people in the photo?
The restore asks the model to edit the photo in place and keep the same people, pose, and framing. Identity preservation is best-effort — check the preview before you download.
Is upscale a 4K enlarger?
No. Upscale clarity asks for cleaner detail inside the restored image. It is not a dedicated 4K upscaler.
Where does the photo go?
The upload is sent to Google’s Gemini image API so it can edit that photo. Zar Labs stores a recent restore on your member account when the image is small enough to save.
Do free downloads have a watermark?
Yes. Free restorations add a Zar Labs watermark when you download. Pro and Premium downloads do not.
